Orb Bound is a browser-based game created by Andrew Davies and hosted at orb-bound.anddav.net. This notice explains what information is stored when you create an account or save your game.
Information stored
When you create an Orb Bound account, the following information may be stored:
- Your chosen username.
- Your password as a secure hash.
- Your saved game data, including player progress, party details, items, location, and battle progress.
- A session cookie used to keep you logged in while playing.
Passwords are not stored in plain text.
Why this information is stored
This information is stored so that you can:
- Log in to your Orb Bound account.
- Save your adventure.
- Continue your game later.
Cookies
Orb Bound uses a necessary session cookie to manage login sessions. This cookie is used only for account/login functionality and is not used for advertising or tracking.
Data sharing
Orb Bound does not sell or share your account or save data with third parties.
Prototype notice
Orb Bound is an active prototype. Features, save data structure, and compatibility may change over time. While care is taken to preserve saved games, save data may need to be changed, reset, or removed during development.
